Where are high quality videos on the web that I can download free?

I need high quality videos, and please don’t say youtube because firstly the quality is terrible, and secondly I don’t know how to download youtube videos. If you could give me the name of a website on where to download high quality videos, that’d help me out a lot!

You Tube has started to grow the wrong way on me. At first it was this “oh so great” video site. Now, I notice video after video at cruddy quality levels, making most of them even a waste of time to watch. For this reason, it would be apparent that a “better” hosting site will prevail through this Youtube age we are at.

Let’s hear what you feel is the “best” currently. Remember, they must offer video streaming, not just a file hosting site.
