How do you watch online videos on a jailbroken iPod touch?

I recently jailbroke my itouch 2g. But when I try to watch videos online ( not on YouTube), it says play in media player, but when I do all I get is a black screen and the audio plays. Any suggestions? Help is much appreciated!
