Long asked:
I am in the market for a new computer. I figured out every component except for the graphic card. By the way, is there a difference between graphic card and video card?
I was thinking of getting the 256MB nVidia Geforce 7300LE, but I want many second opinions.
I want to be able to use two monitors which will both have a resolution of at least 1280×1024. I often use Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign all at once. There is a possibility that a software like 3D Studio Max or Autocad will be open along with the three I already mentioned.
So, is the 256MB nVidia Geforce 7300LE right for me? If not, which card is better for my requirements?
dionysos: don’t worry about RAM, the minimum I am going to get is 2GB and I might even go to 4GB.
